Our Program
Our desire is to provide a welcoming and cheerful environment for preschoolers to experience and learn about God’s love. Children will engage in a variety of learning activities that are developmentally appropriate. We use a play-based learning approach that emphasizes social, emotional, as well as academic learning. Recognizing that children are individuals, we strive for each child to feel known, cared for, and heard. We aim to work from the level that each individual child has attained and then move forward one step at a time. Our structure for the classroom is both child-centered and teacher-led.
Our School year
Our classes run from September through May, and class is held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45-11:30 AM
AGE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
We are accepting students ages 3-5 years old (student must turn 3 years old by Aug 31 of 2024).
We desire for your child to be fully potty trained and independent in any self-cleaning/care before or after the use of the potty. We do know that sometimes this transition can take awhile.
Please contact us regarding our Toilet Training Form that we do offer.

Our Philosophy of Learning
We highly value the God given role you have as the parents/teachers of your child, and we recognize the privilege to come alongside that work in your child’s life during the class time hours. Our desire is to provide a welcoming and cheerful environment for preschoolers to experience and learn about God’s love for them and for them to enjoy a variety of activities that are age-appropriate. Recognizing that children are individuals, we strive for each child to feel known, cared for, and heard.
We aim to work from the level that each individual child has attained and then move forward one step at a time. We believe that at this age, children learn the best through play. Our classroom time is designed to do this. We model and teach a love for learning through play, daily circle time, singing song time, books and oral stories, large muscle activity, crafts, and many hands-on learning centers. We use a daily schedule that does not change so the children know what to expect.
Any paperwork we do emphasizes the process rather than the product, fostering a sense of accomplishment of a completed task, and/or a “try again” perspective. Our structure for the classroom is both child-centered and teacher-led. We follow a teacher guided structure for teaching times. We incorporate a mixture of a teacher-guided and student free-choice in our hands-on learning centers, large muscle activities, and imaginative play times.
