OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - November 9th
Operation Christmas Child is a Samaritan’s Purse program that, with your help, has provided Christmas gifts and Gospel presentations to over 220 million children worldwide since 1993. Shoeboxes for you to take home and fill with gifts will be available in the lobby this Sunday and in the church office Nov. 10-14th. Boxes will need to be returned by Nov. 16th to the tables in the lobby. If you’d prefer, you can build a shoebox online HERE!
TRUCKERS MINISTRY GIFT PACKING & PREPARATION - November 10th @ 5:30 PM - Fellowship Hall
Join us in blessing truckers this Christmas!
We’ll be handing out gift bags and stockings at local truck stops the weekend before Christmas to share the love of Jesus. To prepare, we’re assembling hundreds of stockings with cards and cookies—come enjoy a fun night of fellowship, pizza, and helping us put everything together! If you would like to donate baking items, please see the list HERE.

Come experience an evening of drama and reflection that points to the hope of the Gospel and redemption through Christ. Bring a friend—it’s a story that sparks meaningful conversation about faith and forgiveness. Tickets sold at the show and in advance HERE!
FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING CLASS - November 15th @ 8:00 AM - Middle School Room
Join us for a CPR/First Aid/AED training class at 8:00 AM, open to adults and youth (12+). Participants will receive instruction in basic CPR techniques, how to respond to choking, how to treat wounds and injuries, and other emergency response practices. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to be better prepared to respond in a crisis. Space is limited—must register in advance; optional Red Cross certification available for $40.
MEDICAL SERVICES TEAM INFORMATION MEETING - November 16th - Fellowship Hall
We are starting a new volunteer team at CCO focused on responding to medical situations and emergencies that may arise during services and events. Whether you are a medical professional (nurse, doctor, firefighter, EMT, CNA, home health aide, etc.) or not, but want to serve and are interested in being a part of this team, please register HERE and join us for an informational meeting and luncheon on Nov. 16th @ noon in the Fellowship Hall.
COFFEEHOUSE EVENING - November 19th @ 6:30-9:00 PM - Fellowship Hall
Join us for a relaxing evening of coffee, live music, and various games. Parents dropping off kids for youth services are welcome to stay and hang out and then youth can come downstairs and join afterwards.
GRIEFSHARE "SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS" - November 21st @ 6:30 PM - Fireside Room
“Surviving the Holidays” is a two-hour, one evening event for folks struggling with the loss (recent or in the past) of a loved one. Holidays can be bleak, lonesome and very challenging! Meet with other folks experiencing loss—-share together, cry together, get encouragement and help as you navigate this difficult road to healing, realizing you’re not alone. There is no cost for this event.
BIBLES & BURRITOS - MEN'S BREAKFAST - November 22nd @ 8:00 AM - Fellowship Hall
Men, you’re invited to Bibles & Burritos—a morning filled with worship, teaching, fellowship, and of course, delicious breakfast burritos! This is a great opportunity to be encouraged in your walk with Christ while connecting with other men in the church. We also encourage you to bring along your sons, grandsons, nephews, or any young men in your life to share in this time together.
CHRISTMAS FOR THE KIDS – Register by November 23rd
This ministry is designed to bless families who regularly attend our church and may need a little extra help this Christmas. If your family could use assistance with essential items—such as warm clothing, coats, or boots for your children—please register online or talk with Pat in the lobby on Nov. 2nd, 9th, or 16th.
Be sure to complete a separate registration for each child in your household, and return all forms by November 23.

Koinonia is the Greek word for "fellowship." Calvary provides Koinonia dinners every other month, which allows for opportunities to get to know others in our church. It’s not a Bible study or a long-term commitment. There are several dates to choose from and different hosts for each month. The hosts plan a meal and ask each participant to bring a part of the meal. These are fun nights of fellowship and sharing a meal together! Sign up online!

SOLDIER RECOVERY UNIT (SRU) DINNER - November 20th - JBLM
Once a month, for the past 15 years, we provide a meal for and minister to the ill, injured, and wounded Soldiers in the SRU at JBLM. Thank you to all who helped feed over 40 people a home-cooked meal last month. Please sign up in the Lobby on November 16th or contact the church office to provide a dish or donation for the SRU. VALENTINE'S DESSERT THEATER (VDT) AUDITIONS - November 23rd @ 1:00 PM - Sanctuary
The Calvary Players are hosting auditions for our show next year, "Cheaper by the Dozen". The show will take place February, 11-14th. The expectation will be that the cast will begin memorizing their lines right away. Middle School youth, high school youth, and adults are encouraged to audition to complete the cast or to serve in different capacities to support the dessert theater. Please register online HERE.

Help the Thurston County Jail Ministry. Bring new plain white socks and cookies (not sticky or crumbly) in Ziploc bags to the boxes in the Lobby between November 23rd - December 10. The correctional officers distribute the cookies, a pair of socks, a Christmas tract, and a note “Cookies baked with love by Thurston County churches.”

Once a month, for the past 15 years, we provide a meal for and minister to the ill, injured, and wounded Soldiers in the SRU at JBLM.
