PURPOSE
Our desire is to cultivate a vibrant and dynamic Media & Tech team that includes:
- AVL Operators (Audio, Video, Lighting)
- Photographers
- Social Media Creatives
- Photo/Video Editors
- Graphic Designers
THE "WHY"
Imagine you move to a new town, or maybe you become interested in knowing who Jesus is. As you scroll through social media, stuff about Jesus starts popping up on your feed. You see a post about Calvary Chapel Olympia that piques your interest, so you click on the profile. Tons of great content talking about Jesus, the Gospel, and how "church is a family." You click on the website link to learn more about this "CCO" place. It's not too far from where you live, so you decide to go one Sunday and check it out!
You stroll in Sunday morning and get greeted by smiling faces as you walk into a packed lobby. Worship music fills the sanctuary as you find your seat. Service starts and the lights go down as you stand for worship, meet those around you during greeting time, and sit on the edge of your seat during the sermon. As you walk out of the service you're once again greeted by smiling faces of future best friends...
This is one of the many great rhythms here at CCO, and if you didn't catch it already, this rhythm isn't possible without those who faithfully serve in Media & Tech.
We accomplish this rhythm with our many roles:
