Give Him Your Heart
Scripture: Joel 2:12-13
A Call to Repentance
12 That is why the Lord says,
“Turn to me now, while there is time.
Give me your hearts.
Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13 Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,
but tear your hearts instead.”
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He is eager to relent and not punish. NLT
Prayer Points & Posture: Be sensitive to the Spirit’s leading as you begin this week of prayer and fasting. A good place to start is by confessing any known sin, including spiritual apathy. Submit wholeheartedly to Jesus and trust Him to hear your prayers, and to respond to them with perfect wisdom, as He furthers His work of grace in you.

Hunger and Thirst for God
Scriptures: Psalm 42:1-2 // Matthew 5:6
Psalm 42:1-2
1 As the deer longs for streams of water,
so I long for you, O God.
2 I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I go and stand before him? NLT
Prayer Points & Posture: As you seek the Lord, express to Him your sincere desire for His presence and power in your life. Ask Him to give you a growing passion for His Word, prayer, and a deeper intimacy with Him. Keep in mind that fasting increases our spiritual sensitivity while our body’s natural appetites are replaced with a longing for God Himself.

Use God’s Mighty Weapons
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. NLT
Prayer Points & Posture: Thank God that spiritual battles are won through spiritual resources, and those resources are available in Jesus Christ, His Word, His church, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask and thank God for victory over sin, freedom from spiritual oppression, breaking of strongholds in your mind, healing of broken relationships, and wounds on your soul.

Clothe Yourselves in Love
Scripture: Colossians 3:12-15
Colossians 3:12-15
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. NLT
Prayer Points & Posture: Take time to pray for healthy marriages, intentional parenting, faithful discipleship of our children, and strong families. Pray for those suffering from church hurt, and for estranged relationships to be reconciled by God’s mercy, power and grace. Pray that the world would see Jesus through our love for Him, and for one another.

Stand In the Gap
Scriptures: Ezekiel 22:30 // 1 Timothy 2:1-4
Ezekiel 22:30 30
“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one. NLT
1 Timothy 2:1-4
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. NLT
Prayer Points & Posture: Intercede for loved ones, for the unsaved, for those who have walked away from God and church, and for those suffering sickness, financial difficulties, or grieving loss. Pray for our church and its leadership team, for our President and his administration, our military and their families, our local and state leadership, peace in Israel, CCO ministries and missionaries, and the persecuted church around the world.

Keep Yourselves United
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-4
Ephesians 4:1-4
1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. NLT
