Our church is holding a week of prayer and fasting starting on January 21, 2024. Below is a list of prayer points to help focus your times of prayer.
HUMILITY AND PERSONAL REVIVAL
- Pray for humility, conviction over sin, and a breaking of sinful habits.
- Pray for personal revival and a hunger for the Lord.
- Pray that we would know God’s love more fully.
- Pray that we would be filled with His Spirit and for His spiritual fruit in our lives.
- Pray for His spiritual gifts to be present and used through us to bless others.
- Pray for a spiritual appetite: hunger for Word, fellowship, prayer, holiness, and a gospel-centered life.
- Pray for a passion for God's Word and for our church.
- Pray that we would be of one mind.
- Pray for a love for one another and desire to serve one another.
FAMILIES & NEIGHBORHOODS
- Pray for a strengthening of your families: those in your church, neighborhood, and across the nation.
- Pray for prodigals, that God would turn the hearts of sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, and brothers and sisters to Him.
- Pray that families would intentionally disciple their kids.
- Pray for a desire to serve one another.
- Pray for strong marriages and families.
- Pray for the strength and desire to honor the Lord for singles.
CHURCHES AND PASTORS
- Pray for churches and church leaders.
- Pray against division in the church. Pray for unity, love, and affection for one another even amidst disagreement.
- Pray for a restored sense of mission, vision, and direction in our church and churches across the nation.
- Pray for church ministries (children’s, middle school, high school, young adults, young marrieds, home groups).
- Pray for faithfulness of volunteers in ministry and that the Lord would raise up more volunteers with a heart to serve in the church and local community.
- Pray for pastors and elder boards who are feeling weary. Pray for strength, courage, humility, wisdom, and wise stewardship.
- Pray for the spouses of those in leadership.
EDUCATION
- Pray for kids’ education in public and private schools and for the curriculum.
- Pray for parents who are homeschooling their children.
- Pray for school boards, teachers, staff, parents, and students.
- Pray for school leadership to seek God for wisdom, courage, and humility to make good decisions.
EMPLOYMENT
- Pray for employers, co-workers, and employees.
- Pray for wisdom and godly leadership in the workplace.
UNSAVED, SICK, AND BROKENHEARTED
- Pray for our family, friends, and neighbors to know Jesus .
- Pray for our bosses, coworkers, classmates and teachers to know Jesus.
- For those struggling with physical health issues.
- Pray for those who are sick and grieving.
- For those who have lost their jobs and/or struggling financially.
- Pray for people who struggle with depression and hopelessness.
- Pray for the homeless to have the ability to get jobs, have a place to live, and to know God’s love for them and desire for their life.
- For the unborn and the mothers/couples considering abortion, for them to know God’s love, hope, and direction for their life.

GOVERNMENT, MILITARY, AND ISRAEL
- Pray for our leadership: city, state, nation, and the world. Pray that God would be gracious to them and would turn their hearts to Him.
- Pray that they pass righteous laws and policies.
- Pray that decisions are made now and in the near future that maintain religious liberties and our ability to govern churches biblically.
- For leaders in our country and businesses to know Jesus and to follow Him in how they lead.
- Pray for safety and wisdom for our military as they protect our country.
- Pray for our service men and women to know Jesus and trust in Him.
- Pray for the families at home while loved ones are deployed.
- Pray for the peace and protection of Israel.
